INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Before using the flocculant (polyaluminum chloride solution), check and, if necessary, adjust the water pH to the normal value of 7.2–7.6 and free chlorine to 0.1–0.5 mg/l. The flocculant (PAC solution) has a certain hydrolysis degree and is ready to use. The flocculant (PAC solution) is used undiluted to avoid further hydrolysis.

Private swimming pool: In case of high turbidity and after the shock chlorine treatment, the quantity of the added product can be up to 20 ml/m3 of water. The quantity of the product is determined experimentally and depends on the turbidity of water. Pre-dissolve the flocculant (PAC solution) in a separate bucket with water, thus decreasing the initial concentration by 5–10 times. If diluted, the flocculant (PAC solution) should not be stored. Switch filtration OFF and pour the solution around the pool using a watering can. Allow the water to settle for at least 12 hours. Remove the resulting flakes and suspended solids from the pool bottom with a pool vacuum cleaner and discharge them to the sewer.

Public swimming pool: The flocculant (PAC solution) is injected by the dosing device through the dispenser to the water supply system at a ratio of 10 to 20 cm3/m3 (depending on the water turbidity) prior to the sand filter. Do not use the product with diatomite or cartridge filtration systems. Once the required water level is achieved, turn filtration OFF and allow the pool water to settle for at least 20 minutes. Remove flakes from the pool bottom with a pool vacuum cleaner and then turn the filtration in the swimming pool (water park) ON. If the water turbidity is not completely eliminated, wash the filter and repeat the procedure.

For automatic dosing, the recommended dosage of the flocculant (PAC solution) is 0.2 to 1.0 ml/m3, depending on the contamination and the number of swimmers. The use of the flocculant (PAC solution) is recommended even for regular water treatment once a week to clean the pool bottom and walls from the accumulated deposits.
